Sounds of Success
It is with great pleasure and excitement that I invite you to attend NAWIC’s 60th Annual
Meeting and Education Conference (AMEC) to be held in Nashville at the Omni Hotel, Sept. 2-5, 2015. This year we celebrate the sounds of success— NAWIC’s 60 years, the success of NAWIC members, and the success of women in construction.
There is value in NAWIC, and value is certainly reflected in the top-notch speakers and presenters scheduled for AMEC. I am very pleased that Anita Renfroe, comedian, author, singer and songwriter, will be our keynote speaker. She will motivate, energize, encourage and entertain as she shares her slightly offbeat takes on “All Things Female.”
Professional seminars and workshops will include business development, professional
development and Association workshops. Business coach Christine Spray will give us some Change Management Strategies. Coty Fournier, author of “Inside Commercial Construction’s MVPs,” will present tips on how to get promoted faster, make more money, and enjoy a seemingly unfair advantage over everybody else. Lee Shelby will present Consequences! Workplace Safety is Not Optional. Judy Hoberman, author of “Selling in a Skirt,” will share tips and strategies that will make an impact on your bottom line. Marny Lifshen will present The Top Ten Mistakes Women Make in Networking to help us be more effective in networking. We will learn the essential qualities of Sensei Leadership from Jim Bouchard. Caroline Turner will present Leveraging Masculine and Feminine Strengths for a Better Bottom Line.
